Prior to Mike passing away in 2019, he expressed his wish that Erin and Jessica continue his legacy in the community. The building and practice was purchased by Erin and Jessica and renamed Voyage Counseling at the Mull House.
Our counseling services are designed to assist individuals, couples, and families resolve their issues without the stigma of "mental illness". The vast majority of those seeking counseling are functional, productive, mentally healthy individuals, without a history of serious psychiatric problems. It is this population of men and women our services are designed to help. We strive to provide the specific psychological tools and knowledge necessary to resolve your personal problems. This educational approach to counseling avoids the pitfalls of the medical psychiatric model with its emphasis on treatment, illness, and abnormality.
Our offices provide an informal, cozy, relaxing atmosphere, where client confidentiality is always assured. Because we are a private practice, there is a minimum of paperwork with no lengthy administrative procedures required to receive the counseling you are seeking. You are never a number and are given the personal consideration often lacking in large, non-private clinics.
We are LGBTQ+ friendly. We offer counseling services and support groups.

Creating safer spaces and empowering queer young people since 1987.
IYG (formerly Indiana Youth Group) is the oldest continuously operating organization for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults in North America. Since being founded as the Indianapolis Youth Group by Chris Gonzalez and Jeff Werner, who hosted small informal meetings in their living room, the organization has grown into a nationally recognized institution that serves thousands of young people across the state of Indiana and beyond each year. The name was changed just a few years after incorporation to Indiana Youth Group to reflect the commitment to all young LGBTQ+ Hoosiers. In 2024, the name was shortened to simply IYG, the monicker by which it had been more commonly known for over a decade.
Today, IYG continues to meet its original goals of creating safer spaces to build self-confidence, explore individualism, and develop friendships within the LGBTQ+ community. It also empowers queer young people, fostering their self-actualization and growth into thriving members of our community.
IYG promotes a space of acceptance, equity, and restorative practices. The organization also advocates for queer youth in schools, the community, and through family support services.

I'm passionate about helping my clients feel safe and capable of handling this journey that is life. I enjoy working with children/teens and their families, particularly those experiencing emotional and behavioral dysregulation. Additionally, I aim to help clients process and recover from trauma and improve self-esteem and have a special interest in working with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ adults. I believe that the therapeutic relationship built in sessions is such an important part of doing the work, and appreciate the flexibility and creativity that can come with therapy as we get to exploring and meeting your needs.
Much of my clinical training/experiences have been focused on trauma treatment, managing intense emotions/behaviors, family relationships and parenting skills, and providing court-mandated therapy services. I also frequently implement components of DBT, play therapy, art therapy, and psychoeducation. I'm trained in Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD.
Everyone deserves a safe space to heal, learn, and grow. I'd love the opportunity to help support you in reaching your personal goals. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to pursue therapy services!
